A visit yesterday to the eldest son’s century + old home to discuss a Halloween costume for Jazz. While there we saw the progress on rebuilding the back porch. This is one of the few outside things left to do. Wes showed us his handiwork in replicating the front porch posts with a router. For not being a carpenter he is an example of ‘you can do it if you need to’.
In other areas I have come to the conclusion that today I must either sweep and vacuum floors or wait two weeks and bring up the tractor (lawn mower), trailer. and the snow shovel in order to haul the mess away. Seeing Jay wants to mow I guess the Hoover and the broom are in order.
Next the bird cages have to be cleaned. Spirit has torn up so much newspaper that I can’t find him in the cage.
I emptied about two dozen books from the built in bookcase in the bedroom to be transferred to the upstairs book cases. Unfortunately they don’t have legs of their own so they are sitting in the stairway waiting for me to get off my dead butt and carry them up!
Also in that same stairway is a bag of my summer cloths to go up in one of the closets upstairs. About two more items like this and I will have formed a barricade to my loft area!
If you noticed Cindyisms hasn’t been updated lately it is because she has a bug! Well she doesn’t but her computer is ailing some. We miss you Sweet Thing!
More about Jazz’s costume later. Hint: she is going to be The Corpse Bride!
