Buck And Doe’s New Adventure!
“ All right Doe are you excited about going out in the snow again?”
“No!”
“ Why not all I heard from you is when can we go outside? Is it winter yet? What’s the hold up? Where is the old lady to take us out?”
“I know but I’m not ready now.”
“Not ready why not”.
“Look at me Buck my head is laying beside my front feet. Do you call that ready?”
“Oh Doe all you do is complain over trivial things.”
“Trivial things !! Do you call having no head trivial?”
“O.K. I’m sorry Doe but you know the old lady will get to you as soon as she can. She been real busy lately.”
“She been busy my white tail!”
“Yes she has Doe see for yourself.”
“ So what am I looking at Buck?”
“ The mother penguin looking at her baby on the floor. She is waiting for the old lady to put the baby together.”
“ Buck I think I’m more important than a baby penguin. It doesn’t even light up. Besides the sled has to be put together too.”
“ Nope you wrong there Doe the sled is hanging there on the basement wall. You see it?”

“Yes. Wait I hear the old lady coming down the stairs. Boy she is moving a whole lot slower than last year. Hey she is putting on my head. I’m almost ready Buck.”
“ Doe she is plugging us in and turning out the light.”
“ Oh Doe you are as lovely as last year!”
“ Buck you are so handsome standing there. So I guess we are ready. Wait where is she going? I want to go out in the the snow! Come back here you old fool! Buck call her back!”
“ I’m sorry Doe she didn’t hear you and she went back upstairs so I guess we will just have to wait.”
