Just a few of the shots from Christmas Eve!
Jasmine created this picture for me!
We are very casual at our gatherings!
The grandkids at the little kid’s table
The big kids at the big kids table. When there is fourteen of you it difficult to get everyone’s feet under the same table!
The stairway carolers sang Christmas songs for us!
We had a Merry Christmas!

For years on my route I carried a Coffee Beanery cup. It was like my right arm. The last thing I did before leaving for the newspaper was fill that cup with coffee.
I loved that cup even after Jay dropped it and it cracked badly. Fortunately it still kept my coffee warm. Unfortunately the Coffee Beanery change the design of the cup so i couldn’t replace it. So for over the last seven years I have carried this poor old cup every time I left the house. But yesterday I retired my old cup by throwing it in the trash.
My sweet hubby gave me a new one for Christmas! Thank you Jay!

Today we spent Christmas with Jay’s Aunt Trudy. She was married to Jay’s Uncle Chet in Germany and came to America as his wife. Chet died a few years ago so we try to keep in touch with her. Christmas Day has become kind of a traditional visit because we had our immediate family over last night. As I have in the past I took a picture with Trudy and the bookmark I wanted to give her.
So Merry Christmas Aunt Trudy!
