Made Her Laugh!

Sometimes I think someone is trying to get my goat but I know it ain’t so!!!!
Three days ago a package came by special delivery and I was with Jay visiting Dialysis facilities.  Two days ago when my regular mail lady tried to deliver again I was with Jay at the doctor’s office.  I finally went to the post office later that day and pick up the package.  It turned out to be Dr. Scholl’s socks for Jay from Mike and Dar.  I can’t get them here and they graciously sent them to me.  (Thank you guys)

Yesterday our downstairs toilet stopped up.  Why! We don’t have any kids around here and Jay said he gave up flushing tinker toys years ago.  I worked with the plunger, Draino, and also the snake to no avail.  I left a message for the plumber, who put in our outside faucets this summer, at around 5 pm.  So last night was spent climbing the stairs half asleep to the second floor bathroom about four times.  This morning at a little after 8 am the phone rang and Mr. Wright was on the line.  He asked if we would be home today.  He would try to get by and correct the problem for us.  Not a half hour later two of the men who work for him were at the door.  One of them explained that Mr.Wright had said to come here before starting their route because they want to take care of their ‘elders’ first.  How sweet can that be?

Jay has finally decided on the Dialysis facility near us and now just has to speak to his kidney doctor to send the papers to get started.  He decided to start now so the schedule will be twice a week instead of waiting for a complete function shut down and having to go three times a week.  His personal physician said yesterday that he still needs to increase his activity which is difficult to do when you can’t see where you are going.  Jay got his flu shot yesterday and so did I under protest!  I normally don’t get one .

The trees are changing colors and the fire bush is gorgeous but not pictured because the company has my camera.  I have to get out and take a layer of dirt off the door that cover the hole that the septic tank lid is in.  The man will be here this evening to pump it.  My daughter called last night to see how things were going and I told her that everything was fine except for a few little shitty problems!  At least I made her laugh!!!
