Yeah right--gonna spend all day crocheting! I was up until 1:18 am and woke up at 10:20 am. Got Jay’s medical routine out of the way, grabbed a bath and then fed Molly and Brandy. I took Jay out to breakfast at Arlene’s and then started my search for mini light bulbs to fix my Halloween lights on the front of the house. During the search I found a rubber and furry spider the size of my hand to put on the glass of the front door. The cat in the pumpkin flag is hanging out front and the colors are so vibrant that it makes you smile when you look at it.
The fire bush is now the darkest red it can be and the leaves are starting to wrinkle. Leaves are falling all over the yard now and bare branches continue to show up.
Yesterday I fixed the canned bruschetta on toasted Italian bread, garnished with grated mild cheddar, and placed in the oven to melt the cheese. For dessert we had homemade applesauce (Jay’s recipe). Good eats that we made ourselves!
While we were out today we went to the grocery store and came home $130. lighter but part of that was spent on three Microplane tools that Jay didn’t have.
Well it is off to the crochet hook until it is time to get a late lunch on the table. Have a great day!
