For You!
Sorry no pictures of my pets for Halloween because the camera isn’t back and with all the medical stuff going on I didn’t get a scary story ready either. But I did find this card and fell in love with it. So my friends I have to share it with you. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
The Bed Is Calling!
Thursday’s plans went haywire when I received a call on the way home from taking Jay into Divita. It seemed they couldn’t get the dialysis to work and wanted him to see a Dr. to see why. So Friday we were at the hospital for an ultra sound on the arm. They found a narrowing in the vein and sent him home with instructions to call to call the office of the doctor who did the operation originally on Monday morning at 9 am. So Jay got up at 7 am, took a shower, and waited until 9 to call. He was told someone would call him back and at 10 am we called again. They check with the Doctor and called us back around 11:45 am to tell us to come into the hospital to Radiology for another test and to try and fix the vein after. We explained that it would take us an hour to get in but they said to come ahead. So off we went and when we got there they said that we didn’t arrive when they were ready for us so they took some one else first.
Now Jay had nor taken his medication or insulin since yesterday. He had nothing to eat since 7 pm yesterday and I of course didn’t eat either. They studied the test taken today, explained the procedure, and took him in sometime after 2 pm. He was back in the room by 4 pm and the good news is that they were able to widen the vein. So tomorrow we will see if he will be able to take his second dialysis treatment.
Of course when we finally left the hospital we stopped and had a big old fashion breakfast at around 6 pm only 23 hours after the last meal so that messed up the meals for today. He just had a small dish of fruit and has gone to bed. I’ll be following soon.
On Saturday two of my grandchildren and two of their friends are coming up so we can work on getting costumes ready for the Lake Orion Lighted Christmas Parade this year. I may not be able to walk in it any more but I still manage to help get others ready for it. I miss the crowds and the kids along the parade way but I know my feet won’t take it anymore.
Les (SEB) and his family will be up Sunday for a short visit and hopefully some lunch with us. We haven’t seen them in a while.
So that all from ( what Cindy calls ) Hooterville for now. My bed is calling me and I’m happy to answer. Good Night!
