On The Berm, In the Fridge, And Off To Dinner!
The unidentified yellow flowers have joined a multitude of Japanese Irises In the berm.
Both have brought new life to what was once a pile of wood chips.
I finally saw a Robin taking advantage of the bird bath and a small bird visited on Tuesday. Of course the camera was in the house so both shots were lost. I bought two new nectar feeder on Thursday because the Oriole feeder was ineffective and the Orioles were trying to use the Hummingbird feeder. The hummingbird feeder had the screen broken out of one of the plastic flowers so the new one is a little different type.
I bought this quarter size sheet cake for the birthday boy. It is now residing in the fridge only half gone. It is a delicious cake but as expected it drove his sugar out of sight. Despite the consequences he is only 66 once and I can afford to throw out the leftovers.
Today we are going to Wes’ house for dinner. Ah! they have whole house air conditioning. So this is a double treat for us. Dinner with family and in the cool besides.
Take care everyone and don’t forget to smile!
