Coming Back!
The big basket of yarn is slowly emptying out as I finish more squares for Grammie Pammie. The work seems to settle me down a little and take my mind off of the recent events.
We had a great thunder shower last night. We so needed the rain. Unfortunately we didn’t need to lose power along with it. But as usual when this happens I thank my lucky stars that we had enough brains to buy a generator when we moved in. During the storm I sat working on squares and Jay was lost in the wonders of the internet. Another good thing about the outage was just before bedtime it helped Brandy and I spot the lightening bugs again.
This morning Jay and I went out to breakfast and by the time we got home the power was restored.
My visit to the Dr.’s office yesterday was good. The polyp found and removed during the scope was non cancerous and I get to go through the same thing in another five years. ( I can hardly wait--not)! I will be adding a fiber drink to my routine however but that beats a sharp stick in the eye.
My Hummingbird(s) are still stopping by for a little snort but unfortunately it is when the camera is in the house and I’m not. I am going to get a picture of it/them and the Gold Finches some how.
The temperature is delightful today but I still haven’t found the heart to go out and weed.
I think I’ll try to find some pictures of Gene for the memorial this coming Sunday. Then maybe things will come back into line a little more.
