The Dragon Chumps Today!!!!

Over the next few days a few of the ornaments that grace our tree will be shown.  Some of these like the Campbell’s soup ones are new from last year.  Others go back several years.  some were bought, some were gifts, and some were home made.  I have the poinsettia plant tree that I painted several years ago out but I will not be putting the Nativity scenes, the out side lights and decoration due to the one footed issue.  Also the adventures of Buck and Doe will consist of hanging on the basement wall for the same reason.

Yesterday when Debra drove me to Dr. Fortin we discussed the Christmas Eve Dinner plans.  As I have probably already said Debra has graciously volunteered to take over my duties for the dinner.  The time between my two surgeries looks like six months to assure the first one is healed well enough to take over the job of hauling me around again.  Oh goody now I will have sunburned toes instead of icicles hanging off them.  But at least I will have driving abilities with the second surgery.  My next appointment with Dr. Fortin is 1-8-08 which should be about release time for walking on the right leg.

Well the dragon has been chomping on this foot over half the day and I’m now just waiting until 12:30 am to take a pain pill and turn in.  Only about 45 minutes so when I tell you good night about four games of Free Cell should take up the remaining time.  I’m on game # 32089 with about five unsolved.  I say about five because I could have lost 1 or 2 when changing pages because one was full.

Attitude level is still good, Christmas is rushing towards us, and I’m pretty well set with my present buying.  Hope all is proceeding well with your plans.  Good Night Good Friend!
