This is our weather today. Snow and still falling with an expected accumulation of 10 to 15 inches by tomorrow morning. The birds are flocking to the feeders as the flakes continue to appear out of the sky. Jay filled them this morning but it looks like he may have to refill them before the day is over.
Jay just read me the report about tornados in Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Alabama. The loss of life and property was devastating. I always thought tornados didn’t form in winter but Mother Nature has proved me wrong. I feel I am fortunate to live where my only worry is how deep the snow is. My thoughts go out to all who must face the loss and the recovery of this disaster.
Turning to a little lighter side ---tomorrow is my appointment to get my cast off. The trip down to Dr. Fortin’s office may be a little hairy but my daughter is driving. She took over my paper route as a sub when I was still working and then drove for the paper herself. This was in all kinds of weather so I know she can handle a little snow on the roads tomorrow.
I hope things are all right in your area right now and that you are coping with those annoying, unexpected things that seem to be coming up.
