Company Came!
Company came to our house yesterday and we had a great time.
After a lunch of Chicken -Cherry Salad, fresh baked Raisin Scones, Cottage Cheese, plus several jars of home canned pickles, jams, and sauces the table was cleared and we moved to the kitchen which magically became my salon. My own ‘leg in a cast barber ette’ sitting on a chair, me on a swivel chair and the magic began. She even took time to trim up Jay’s hair also.
The chatter, listening to Dr. Hook and Dire Straits, while Spirit talked happily in his cage delighted Shawn no end. Molly and Brandy gave their approval after examining Shawn’s bare toes protruding from her cast. I wondered if they were remembering my cast not too many months ago.

I thanked her profusely and brought up some items from the food room for her to take home with her.
Also our thanks to Dennis for bringing Shawn up to spend the afternoon with us. The word for our visit was delightful.
Confetti, Horns, And Balloons Oh My!
Picture Balloons falling, confetti covering everything around, party horns beeping, and cow bells clanging!
Actually I turned the helium tank back in about four years ago.
The confetti is really dust and maybe a few spider webs here and there.
The party horns are Brandy’s plush toys that you step on as you cross the floor.
Finally I had a heck of a time trying to find a cow that still wore a bell and I abandoned that Idea all together.
I did however find the clowns to liven up my celebration.
Oh I remember those fun times of parades. parties, picnics, and performances.

We didn’t have time to work up a routine for the party but we do wish Mommascorner.com a very happy fifth birthday and hope you will continue to visit with us for another year.
