Set It Right!

Good Morning!  I need to take time this morning to thank daughter Cindy for spending all day yesterday down at South East Michigan Surgical Hospital with Jay as he had some corrective work done on his fistula.  She traded shifts—working midnights last night to be available to drive him down, stay with him during surgery, and then bring him home.  This is the second time in less than a week she has done this.  She took care of me in my surgery trip also.  Now she needs all your prayers and encouragement also.  She is having blood pressure and related problems that puts her in stoke danger.  So if you have a moment please send her your best.  Hopefully SEB will have her computer up and running and she will be able to visit more often.

I also heard that Mrs. Dof’s mom is ill so a few good thoughts her way would also be appreciated.

As for Jay—all went well and he should be perking right along soon.

Phyllis, my neighbor,  sent over tomatoes ,some Romas, from her garden.  So today I’ll start a big pot of Herb Tomato soup to freeze.  She also sent a bag of different types of hot pepper which I had Cindy take to daughter-in-law Debra’s house.  I also have to check out some pears from friend Edna’s tree to see if I can make cinnamon pears out of them.  I really hope to get these projects under control because I hate to see anything go to waste.

As for my leg—-each day brings a little less pain and a little more concentration powers.  Now if I could stop kicking the good leg with the one with the cast on it it my sleep I’m sure the soreness will continue to disappear.

A look out the French doors this morning is showing hints of a Summer disappearing and a Fall slowly taking the Seasonal Stage.  The Red Maple has started to drop it’s leaves and the garden barrels are showing signs of the end of the growing season.

The evenings are great sleeping weather and day time is bringing the need for a light jacket or sweater over one’s shoulders.
Have a great rest of the week.  Also laugh out loud for me—It is a geat natural cure for all things needing to be set right!!!
