Isn’t That LIfe?
Mission accomplished this morning! I can see my Sweetie’s mouth!
News from my brother yesterday was not good but it was what I expected. His Doctor says three to six months. My job is to keep in contact and help him through. This is a big job. I will need a deep breath every once in a while so please excuse me if I’m sometimes absent.
Les was up Wednesday to help us with the computer again. I came across this cartoon that I think fits the situation.
I want to wish my sis-in-law Peggy a Happy Birthday tomorrow. Also Granddaughter Jasmine will be 16 on May 1st.
Jay and I have been smoke free for five years tomorrow and I’m going to break my arm patting us on the back. (A job well done!)
It is almost time for my bushes and trees to blossom and I can’t wait!!! All the trees and bushes around the property is growing greener every day. Soon you won’t see the homes that are set back in behind us until late fall.
This week was rainy but the sunshine should pull our hearts up soon.
So there you have it. Some good ,some bad. some happy, some sad but isn’t that life?

Congratulations on being smoke free for 5 years. It’s been almost 4 years for me. I’m really glad because of the cost of cigarettes. Now if only i can get my husband to stop.
Apparently my dad is trying his hardest to quit now. I guess it’s been since Tuesday since his last cigarette.
take care

Posted by cindy on 04/30 at 11:58 AMSo sorry about your brother. Very sad times for your family-but a road we all must walk when our time comes.
I’m so happy you and your husband are smoke free! That’s something I wish for all the people I know and care about-and even the ones I don’t know and care about!
Congrats! So spring has finally found you!! That’s good!

Posted by June on 04/30 at 01:31 PMI am also sorry to hear about your brother. My dad was all my aunt had left when we found out she had Alzheimer’s. He took care of her for ten years, and the last few years were the hardest I am sure. I saw her not long before she died, and it was very traumatic. My dad stayed strong to the end for my aunt, though, and if such a task should ever fall on my shoulders, I hope I can be half as strong as he was.
