Last Rose Of Summer——-
——ain’t a rose.

The award goes to friends of Miss Daisy who are located in the front yard. Miss Daisy has already gone to sleep.

The second award goes to the impatiens by the front step.

Though not a flower the color of the fire bush wins an honorary mention here.

Last the award for a valiant try goes to the little yellow snapdragons still barely holding on.
The pictures are from my walk with Brandy out to the swing and then around the house. When we first stepped out the wild turkeys were down on Tripp’s driveway out back but before I could call Jay to bring the camera they had disappeared into the woods.
Our last picture is looking down our driveway towards the road.

We have some color but the leaves are starting to fall now. The day is warm but the nights are cold. I’d say Fall is here and Winter is not far behind!
