See I Told You So!

It is coming down!

The weather report said a severe weather alert starting at 4pm  and guess what  at 3:43pm it arrived.  We can expect 5 to 8 inches of the white stuff tonight.  It will continue to fall tomorrow though Thursday.  Oh boy more fun!

About Momma

Now 85-years-old on February 22 and I'm still on the right side of the grass. Mother of two sons and one daughter (Bloggers SEB and Cindyisms are two of them). I'm Grandmother of three. I have lived with my middle son for almost a year now and he hasn't kicked me out yet. I stay active with household chores and feeding my zoo. (2 cats, 1 dog, and 1 bird.) Retired after 29 years+ at Michigan Bell Telephone and ten+ years with The Oakland Press. I was active with the telephone company union and a Dale Carnegie graduate. I work at crocheting, knitting, making ornaments, and other projects. I do a little canning. I trained with the Michigan Bell Clown troupe and then I was a clown doing parades, parties, and picnics for about 15 years. My other passions are music from the 50s through the 80s, reading, birds, flowers, my pets, big cats, and of course blogging!

  1. Yep, it’s Michigan! Our’s started falling around 2-something and Earl said we got a total of around 9 1/2 inches. Good thing it’s a Snow Day and Retiree day – both Eric & Earl shoveled out the driveway (It’s nice to NOT have to join them, for a change!) I’m just glad we didn’t get the expected rain and freezing (they were predicting frozen and broken power lines, last night!) AND the new snow didn’t have to lie on top of the old snow – that had already melted, so there ARE some blessings in all this mess!

  2. We got around 10 inches on our driveway, and I will wait for the snow removal man to arrive. I shoveled a little off the front step. Very Heavy snow. Michigan does live up to its name, wait a minute the weather changes. Boy did it change!

  3. Hello, Mary hope all is well..Cindy informed us that today is your birthday, so I wanted to stop by and wish you a great day today, despite this nasty weather. Hope you are staying warm. Hello to Jay also..have a Happy Birthday..

  4. Happy Birthday, Momma! It was my dad’s 75th birthday back on the 15th…. as I am sure I’ve told you many times before, he lived in Coldwater Michigan and went to Coldwater High when he was a tad younger, so I feel as if you, Cindy, and the rest are sort of my own kin… Have a great Birthday!!!

  5. Thank you so much Nancy and Jeff for the birthday wishes it was great to hear from you. I hope life is treating you well.

As to the snow we are all toughing it up here in the winter wonderland and will continue to search for signs of Spring!!!
