The Trip For Taxes

Well David, Libby, and I went to Otisville today to get my taxes done.   I gave them two jars of jam.  It was a refund so I’m happy.  From there we went up to Millington to McPherson’s and pick up a couple of Cinnamon rolls.  ( Hey  Darlene how about that I know you and Michael love them.)  On way back through we stopped at McDaniel’s Farm market to leave them some jam.  The owner  asked if I ever had Goose eggs.  I said only the kind you get when you hit your head on something.  He said I was in for a treat and handed me this.

So now I have two goose eggs.

I love it when we trade!

From there we went to my old neighbor’s house and left 2 jars of jam near the garage door.  Then we stopped at the dollar store in Otisville and found this.

$2.12 and our kitchen counter tree is ready for St. Patrick’s day.

I took the Birthday flag down today and put this up instead.

When March rolls around I’ll put the pretty one up.

Our trip home from Otisville was good but Libby was happy to be back in her own yard.  She and David are resting right now, Cindy is working, and I took this time to clean the living window, go through some greeting cards throwing some old ones that I had no envelopes for, and feasting on part of my birthday cake.

Wes called last night and wished me a Happy Birthday.  He is going to make dinner for me some time in the next few weeks.  This is a treat for me because he sure can cook some tasty things.

Lesley and Ann will be up tomorrow for a visit and I*’m looking forward to that.

I got a call from Sterling yesterday and the hearing aids still aren’t in but he is checking on them.

I want to thank everyone for the great wishes for my birthday–I appreciate it a lot.

Now I think I’ll go join Brandy for a short nap before we continue to the next project.

Take care And I’ll catch you later
