Whats New!

Good afternoon.  I would like to introduce the new member of the family.

This is Honi.. She is a Yorkie/Havanese

She was born in January.

Very affectionate, beginning to get used the bedroom and living room.  She goes out on a leash right now because she could slip under the gate.  Our zoo is slowly getting used to her.

Today I went to the dentist and had the rest of my lower teeth removed.  Some were beginning to chip.  I was experiencing some pain.  1 1/2 hours later they were out.  I will be getting a lower denture in a few weeks.  There was some infection so I figured it was time to fix that. At my age I don’t want the risk of infection.  One good thing no more pain and I don’t have to buy more tooth paste!  Other than the stitches  and a little pain  ( I know I sound like I’m falling apart) I should be fine soon.

I have lived with my daughter for almost three years now and she hasn't kicked me out yet. I stay active with household chores, and feeding my zoo. (3 cats, 1 dog, and 2 birds.) Retired after 29 years+ at Michigan Bell Telephone and ten+ years with The Oakland Press. I was active with the telephone company union and a Dale Carnegie graduate. I work at crocheting, knitting, making ornaments, and other projects. I do a little canning. I trained with the Michigan Bell Clown troupe and then I was a clown doing parades, parties, and picnics for about 15 years. 1. She’s ADORABLE! (do you pronounce her name HONEY?) Is she the dog you wanted but then thought you weren’t getting? She’s so stinkin’ CUTE!!!

  2. Pam- we tried several different times to adopt a shelter pet but every time we turned around they found a reason for us not to get one. Mom was too old, we had too many pets and they didn’t feel that they would be safe with Libby. So I ended up taking her to the pet store and she found Honi. Yes it’s Honey but she was looking for a unique spelling. Lol

  3. What a dear little dog!

Tomorrow I have to phone a local theatre to try to get tickets for an October show which are coming out tomorrow. It is our Irish singer man.

Glad you are OK. Marion UK
